M-Angel Says on YouTube

Yep, I’m also a YouTuber! I started M-Angel Says in 2018 after parting ways with Music Game News (MGN)—a channel I co-founded and co-hosted with my ex, Ovela. It’s been quite a journey, and I never expected that my foray into videography would lead me here.

Discovering Videography

My videography journey began out of necessity—back in 2011, my band Dark Light needed music videos, and our student budget didn’t allow for hiring anyone. So I took it on myself. That experience led to freelance work creating promo videos for concerts and dance troupe performances, and eventually to producing mini-documentaries for the nonprofit Aumazo, Inc.

Music Game News

I shared my video knowledge with my partner at the time who wanted to launch a YouTube channel as a means of cultivating an audience for our band, Dark Light.

In 2015, we launched the channel “Music Game News.” Even though it wasn’t part of the initial plan, I ended up co-hosting almost all of the videos and really invested in the project. Three years later, we had published hundreds, if not thousands, of videos and had gained an audience of over 700,000 subscribers. The channel has since surpassed the 1 million subscriber mark.

M-Angel Says

I left MGN in 2018 and developed the YouTube channel M-Angel Says. I produced a variety of content over the years: travel vlogs, comedy sketches, song covers, TV show and movie reviews, reaction videos, interviews, relationship advice, self-development tools, the law of attraction tips, etc.

The channel’s current focus is on reaction videos, movie and TV show reviews, and music-related content.
